Can I decompress a Standalone file so it does not have to do do the extraction step each and every time I start the exe tour file?

It is possible, yes. Simply select the .exe file that the program generates and unzip it as if it were a .zip file.

This will create a folder with all the tour files included in it. The file to run the tour is called "tourlauncher.exe", and if you want, you can rename it to a different name.
